Wellbeing Waterloo Region’s New Network Catalyst

Please join us in welcoming Paige Monck-Whipp (she/they) as the new Network Catalyst for Wellbeing Waterloo Region. Starting June 21st, Paige will provide strategic leadership fostering the inter-sectoral work of the WWR initiative to ensure Waterloo Region is at the leading edge for community wellbeing, governmental and organizational equitable practices and policies.

Paige has 10 years of experience working in the public sector in Waterloo Region, as well as a background in conflict management and community development. She is a self-proclaimed “conflict nerd”, collaborative strategist, and believer in the power of people to do incredible things. She is energized and excited to dive in and work with you to develop WWR’s path forward.

As the WWR Network Catalyst, Paige will be working with WWR’s 100+ partner organizations, businesses and government representatives to guide and support the amazing work that you do, and promote wellbeing and equity as it relates to the WWR strategic direction. In response to emerging and evolving community needs, WWR’s 2021-2023 areas of focus include: Connected Community; Reducing Inequities; and Measuring and Monitoring Wellbeing.

You have all been invaluable partners and supporters in the WWR collaborative over the years, and your ongoing engagement and continued efforts are key to our collective vision of a community where everyone thrives and no one is left behind. While WWR navigates this transition and Paige gets settled, we look forward to connecting with you. On behalf of WWR, Paige will be involved with the Community Safety and Wellbeing Planning and will keep you well-informed throughout. Please stay in touch and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions as we embark upon this exciting journey together!
